Consultation now closed - Thanks to all who contacted RBC to support our bid in the next Local Plan

Reading Borough Council has an open public consultation on changes to the Local Plan. Help us by supporting our change to move the land in Kentwood and Armour Hills to being protected as "Local Green Space".

To qualify as a Local Green Space, the land needs to be ‘demonstrably special to its local community and hold a particular local significance (for example because of its beauty, historic significance, recreational value, tranquillity, or richness of its wildlife).’

The consultation is your chance, as a member of the local community, to tell Reading Borough Council why protecting this land in its current green state is important to you. It’s your chance to influence decision-making about your local environment.

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

·        Feedback directly to Reading Borough Council, responding to questions 15 and 75, by 31 January 2024, via their online form, by email or in writing – details below.

·        Join the Keep Kentwood Green Facebook group, so your name can be automatically included in our collective response.

·        Email us at admin@keepkentwoodgreen.com if you’d like your name to be included in the KKG response.
